Ladies and Gentlemen: Live on the Levee will be back for the 2007 summer season starting Friday, June 1 and continuing each Friday evening through Regatta. We are excited about the line-up which will feature familiar names. The live entertainment will be from 6:30 to 8:30. We will continue our theme of "good times for a good cause" and focus attention each week on our local charities providing homeless and family assistance. The 2 for 1 raffle will provide monetary support . Food and beverages will be served on the Boulevard. The antique car show this year will include motorcycles and will begin June 15. June 1 will include the opening ceremony of Special Olympics, immediately following the concert, and June 8 will be the AEP Linemen Rodeo with entertainment provided by AEP. For the first time we have a corporate sponsor - KOMAX. This support coupled with your regular attendance will help sustain Live on the Levee as a permanent part of our summer activities. This series makes Charleston a vibrant and exciting City and a good place to live and work - a major theme of Mayor Danny Jones and our City Council.
